Angela Blake Photography, LLC specializes in a style of photography that is clean, crisp, and colorful. It is a mix of traditional and modern, which adds a fresh twist to your portraits while keeping them timeless. I specialize in wedding photography and bridal portraits, engagement photo sessions, and senior portrait photography. I also offer maternity and newborn or baby photography, child or children's photography, and family portraiture. My goal is to provide all of my clients with innovative, emotive, romantic, stylish, and personal art. I want everyone to adorn their walls with artwork and photographs that are personal to their own family.

 

I currently offer on-location photo sessions in many areas around Birmingham, Alabama. B'ham has so many unique and different locations that can provide the perfect backdrop for your senior portrait, engagement photography session, maternity photos, or wedding photography. Angela Blake Photography is located in Gardendale, Alabama, but will travel in and around the Birmingham area, as well as neighboring areas, such as Gadsden, Huntsville, Arab, Guntersville, Anniston, Oxford, Montgomery, Jacksonville. I am also available for travel worldwide for destination weddings and/or portraits.

 

A wedding is one of the most amazing things in a couple's life together. It marks the start of a new life together and is a public display of the love that the couple shares for one another, which is why I am a wedding photographer in Birmingham, Alabama…. I just love the atmosphere of such a special day! Love is just awesome and being able to capture those emotions for a couple is amazing! Weddings also provide a time for everyone to look their very best and to spend time with friends and family. Every bride wants to look back fondly at the images of their special day and see every detail beautifully captured. I want all of my wedding clients to look at their images and think that they came straight out of a magazine. I hope that all of my couples can look back years from now and relive every moment of their wedding by flipping through their wedding album and viewing the romantic photographs that grace its pages. I typically approach weddings with a mix of posed and photojournalistic or documentary style. Formal portraits have their place in every wedding, so time is allotted for those. For the majority of the wedding, I capture the moments as they unfold. Capturing real emotion from the bride, groom, family, and friends while they may be completely unaware of the camera is one of the things that my couples love the most.

 

Engagement photo sessions and Bridal sessions are also a great tool to get used to the camera, as a prep to the big day. Engagement photography can also help you get to know your wedding photographer better, and it gives you a chance to communicate or try any ideas you have for your wedding day.
